Teriyaki Veggie Burgers

2 veggie burger patties of your choice
2 burger buns (we couldn’t find whole wheat here)
1/3 cup pineapple chunks
1/3 cup avocado, diced
3 tbsp pineapple juice
3 tbsp soy sauce

Grill veggie patties on the stove top, according to directions. Meanwhile, heat the buns in the oven for a few minutes if desired. About halfway through, pour pineapple juice and soy sauce over the tops of the patties and allow them to cook in it the remaining time. Place each patty onto the buns. Pour the remaining juice from the pan into a bowl with the avocado and pineapple. Put half of this mixture on top of each burger. Serve alongside your choice of crispy potatoes, fries, salad, or veggies.
