I know, I have not posted a ton of recipes yet and I’m already adding a second pizza dish. But, pizza is really a comforting, easy enough go to. Below is the recipe for my favorite veggie pizza. It is easy to change around a bit according to what I have on hand. It always turns out great and you can adapt it to your tastes.
1 pizza dough, favorite store brand or homemade
1 ½ cups pizza sauce
½ cup cashew “cheese”
1 bell pepper (any color, or combination)
½ medium red onion
2 mushrooms, thinly sliced
½ jalapeno (more or less according to preference)
Crushed red pepper
Thinly slice all the vegetables. Pour sauce on the pizza dough and arrange vegetables on top evenly. Cook according to crust directions, until ingredients are warmed and cooked thoroughly. Cover with crushed red pepper, to taste.
