Dublin Fun Fact Friday: Marsh’s Library

Next to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is Marsh’s Library, an old library full of old books. For just  €3, you can see the main room with all the old windows, shelves and books. The very knowledgeable and friendly staff will provide a ton of information on the history- and on other places to see in Dublin as well. The library is gorgeous and definitely worth a stop in. You can even see a book with a bullet hole – shot into the binding through a window during the 1916 rebellion. Find all the details on the library’s visitor page

Great write up on Marsh’s Library! I will miss you and Alicia on Thanksgiving! Your mom and dad are coming up here to Santa Rosa. Hope your holiday is fun for you and Marcus! Hugs!

Ooohhh, thank you! I`ve never been. Nor, to my shame, have I been to St Patrick`s Cathedral, which I hear is fascinating too.Two big gaps I must fill soon!
