I have to admit that the first time I heard of this, I thought it sounded crazy and anything but delicious. A bar by our friends house in Berkeley served popcorn and next to the machine were always a few topping options- including a bottle of Sriracha. One day I was finally daring enough to try. It was good, but I wasn’t sold. Mostly because of my uneven distribution. I worked on my technique: drizzle very lightly, shake the bowl up, stir, drizzle again, repeat until desired redness is achieved. Now it is my favorite way to eat popcorn! Next time you make popcorn, skip the butter and throw on some hot sauce instead for a totally new twist on a snack staple.
